Why You Need to Be The Best You
There are people in this world that will never become their best until you become your best.
Fear is a crazy thing. It holds us back from doing the things we were meant to do and prevents us from experiencing some of the most amazing things in life and helping the people we were meant to help. If we focus on our fears they can consume you BUT if we lean in and have the courage to move through them it can propel you forward and move you closer to your purpose.
For many years I was afraid to put myself out there as an “expert”. I was afraid to speak up and share my knowledge for fear that people wouldn’t like what I had to say, that I would sound silly or that I wasn’t “good enough” to do what I was doing.
Pretty crazy, right?!
The truth is, for as much as I was afraid of being judged by others those same people were actually judging themselves. There were also many people out there who were struggling and who needed the exact things that I’m good at. If I didn’t step out of my fear they may not have gotten the help they needed and I would not be able to help many businesses to discover their higher purpose, to build stronger interactive teams and to dig deep to help individuals discover confidence.
Avoiding the things you need to do to become your best, the hard things, only prevents you from becoming your absolute BEST. Things aren’t always going to work and sometimes things get messy but remember it’s not about YOU it’s about the bigger impact you can make. The more you experience, the more resilient you become, the more confidence you build and the more you will be your best.
These wins we experience are not in the results but in the courage we develop to do what it takes to achieve those results. To step out of our comfort zone and be the amazing person, leader, manager and business owner we are meant to be. To do the things that other people won’t do, to see things differently in our business so that we can make a difference to our customers, our co-workers, our peers and to the world.
So would you rather stay hiding, be overwhelmed and constantly focus on “I don’t have enough time” or “I can’t do it”? Would you rather stay hiding and not step into being the best you can be so you can help others step into their best?
Of course you don’t because you’re in this community and you’ve gotten to this part of the email so I know you’re ready to be your BEST. What you focus on is what expands. The more you focus on your fears the more they grow. The more you focus on what’s possible for you and your business the more possibilities and opportunities will come your way. Imagine what’s possible if you decide, today, to be your best and to show up no matter what.
I thank you for being part of my community, for showing up everyday and for being your best YOU.
Lead with love. Show up everyday with a grateful heart.
